News: The digestible robot

This news article talks about a small robot created by Swiss scientists that is digestible. It means that we have to eat the robot and then it starts to walk into our body to see what is wrong and applicate the medicine on the wright site. Also we can see that the news explains that they are experimenting with making them tasty in the future.

In my opinion it would be nice only in case this increases the effectivity of the medicines in humans. But anyway I wouldn’t like to think that there is a robot that I can’t control walking into my stomach.

News: supersonic planes in 2023

The news explains us that maybe in 2023 we could fly in supersonic planes, and it means that the planes will be faster than now.
But that’s not very shocking because in 1970 there was a plane that could fly from London to New York in just three hours. The point is that the old plane caused Earth-shaking, but now they found a solution for this problem.

So in my opinion that’s a great new because it means that we could travel to anywhere and during the journey we are not going to waste the big amounts of time that we lose now. But before we have to know the flights prices because maybe it would be better to pay less and waste more hours in the fly.

My say: UB talk

Today a psychology teacher of the UB (Universitat de Bacelona) came to our high school to explain us how is the university and all the typical things that are explained in this type of talks.
But this time it was not like the typical  talks where the teacher try to convince you to go to his university, this time he teach us some valorous advices that could be useful for us the next year. He talks more about the life change that we are going to live and I appreciate that.

In conclusion I enjoy a lot the talk and honestly I think that if all universities do the same, it would be better for us and for them because a good talk leaves you a good sensation about the university.

My say: Salaries of famous people

This weekend I saw some football matches and I start to think about the big amounts of money that they earn just to play football in a professional level. It's difficult to think that they will earn in one month, more or less the same as you in all your life (only the top players).
But if we watch it in another point of view, all the money that are earning is because they generate more than it, so the companies who pay them, earn money too.

In summary that's a reflexion to see the world where we live, and what quantities of money generate some famous people.

My say: Prohibition of alcohol in Roses carnival

Roses carnival is one of the most famous here where we live. But these last years this carnival begins a synonym of drinking a lot.
In front of that, Roses town hall decides that this year the alcohol is going to be forbidden during the carnival because it cause a very bad image for the people who is watching it.

In my opinion I agree about that decision because it's better for the town to cause a better image, but for the young people who participates in the carnival is not good because they have to wait until the end of the parade. So, in summary I understand Roses town hill but I understand also the point of view of people who participate in it because if I were in that case I would be angry also.

My say: TdR

Last Tuesday we received our research project mark and personally I agree with mine but I saw other classmates that did not, agree with their result and I want to write my opinion about that.
I think that these marks are very relative because I see people that work a lot and they deserve a higher mark than they have, but due to their tribunal they have a lower mark. And the same happens in the opposite case, people that have a higher mark than they deserve. With all of that I want to say that teachers should have to be equal for all of us.
After all, I want to make clear that I’m happy with my mark, but I’m only giving my opinion of what I think and what I see.

My say: Open Day in UAB

Next Wednesday we are going to UAB (a university in Barcelona).
I think it’s very good for the students, that universities open their doors to everyone who is interested, to see how it is and how it works. But the most important of this visit is to see the different careers that you want to do and that are available, and know more about them.
The problem comes when the university, in order to show you the career, try to convince you to go to that university. I mean, they talk more about the university and their installations than the career.
I know this because last year we went to the same university I didn’t like it because of the reason that I have just explained. But I have to say that not all the universities do the same. For example, in Girona they explain to you about the dufferent careers and they help you to choose one that would be best for you.
So to conclude- my opinion is, I want to say that universities should help you to choose a career more than sell you themselves.
